Current Activities

The design of a source removal system was finalized and presented to residents and county officials.  The system consists of three pumping wells, 6 reinjection wells, and a treatment building containing an air stripper and carbon polishing.  The building is constructed, equipment installed, startup procedures initiated, and the system is operating as of 3/18/97 (initial output = 7.1 gallons per minute).


Next Steps

Closely monitor the removal system during the start-up period and continue to monitor the CCl4 plume.
